Carmela was the perfect celebrant, but over the course of the year became more of a friend and confidant, guiding us through our rollercoaster of a journey to getting married in 2020! And we couldn’t have done it without her!
We met Carmela on our first trip to Ravello and kept in close contact when back in the UK. Carmela was always there to answer queries, spent hours with us on the phone and guided us step by step through the legal process of getting married abroad which is no mean feat!
When Covid hit, Carmela was nothing short of outstanding in the way she listened and responded to our worries, concerns and hopes, and in the way she guided us through what was possible within the fast moving and uncertain situation with very limited information.
After some more conversations and a questionnaire, Carmela wrote such beautiful words for our ceremony. She suggested some fun traditions to incorporate, helped us choose readings and had incredible attention to detail to ensure the ceremony ran seamlessly.
On the day, Carmela was warm and kind. We felt Carmela captured our story, our personalities and our love of each other so perfectly. We received many compliments on our ceremony – it was so personal and engaging, very different from other weddings that have generic scripts.
We can’t thank Carmela enough for bringing such dedication, patience and positivity to us on the run up to our moving target of a wedding! We recommend Carmela wholeheartedly!
